PINI GURFIL

An independent singer-songwriter, composing soft rock, acoustic rock, progressive rock, and art rock music. Music is melodic and melancholic, emphasizing instrumental solos. Lyrics are introspective and reflective, dealing with solitude, faith, relationships and struggle. Influences include classical music and classical rock.

BIO

A composer, songwriter and musician, playing piano, keyboards and the accordion.

Started the artistic career by writing Hebrew poetry, and published two award-winning poetry books in 2015 and 2016. Started writing music in 2014, initially for other artists, with a debut album titled "darkonlight" released in 2018. Started recording music as a performer in 2021 with producer Tom Godstein. The second album and first as a singer was titled "Just Below My Cover". Five singles off this album have been released: "Fade Away", "Reborn", "Anny", "PTSD, Mon Cheri" and "Call It Art". The full album was released in December 2022. The third album, titled "Read the Lyrics", was released in 2024. In May 2024, the first single from this album, "Emily Honeybee", reached a top-3 position in Israel's Rock Chart (Ze Rock Radio). The third album, a self-titled eight-track LP, will be released in 2026.
